County Sligo Swimming Club has a structured coaching programme for children of all abilities. The swimmer commences with weekly swimming sessions in the Nippers squad and following successful completion, is introduced to competitive swimming in Groups 1, 2, 3 and 4.
In order to progress through the various squads, swimmers must meet the published Squad Entry Criteria which will be assessed by a designated Club Coach. The final decision regarding all group progressions lies with the Head Coach.
The CSSC Training Schedule (2023-2024) is updated on an ongoing basis. The 'Parent on Duty' schedule is managed by the individual Training Group What's App groups.
The CSSC Masters training group has been a great success for the club, both training and competing at many of the nationwide Masters events.
